Brown Sauce, White Sugar

 So pub night happened.

We chartered a bus and went to the Merry Ploughboys. They had super long tables like a dining hall. I was intrigued by this place. First there was a band called the Merry Ploughboys. Super original. Then we saw "river dancers". It was basically those girls you see at St. Patrick's Day festivities with curly hair dancing primarily with their tight leg muscles. Little jealous of their awesomeness.

Dinner was yummy. It was three courses. I had vegetable soup that looked a wee bit like cat vomit...but 'twas delicious. Then I went for the chicken with potatoes (I think there has not been a meal without potatoes). Lastly, APPLE PIE. Satisfied.

Highlights?
Singing "My bonny lies over the ocean" whilst holding hands with the people next to me. When in Ireland... Also, this hilarious girl on my trip, Kaila, was off with her clapping to one of the songs. So the band called her up and made fun of her. She had told one of the band members that she was nervous because for dinner she had unbuttoned her jeans and never rebuttoned them. Naturally, he made her raise her hands up and all was shown to the audience. Creep. They called him the Silver Fox because he was 20 years older than the other men in the band. He played this recorder thing. I don't know. I don't appreciate him stealing Anderson Cooper's Silver Fox status though. JUST SAYING.

Ah! Oh my gosh. I still have a bruise from rubbing my USA tattoo off after the Fourth of July. Excuse my mom arms. I haven't been able to work out...

Literally how does this even happen. I bruise easily all the time. Wahhhhh.

Anywho, I don't know why but my teacher (the dean of chemistry) has a blackberry, and this gives me so much excitement. I think only important people have blackberry phones now. My blackberry (the first smartphone I had) was bae. I seriously couldn't even throw it away once I switched to the dark side and got an iPhone. I miss having the keyboard and little ball scroller. Wow I'm feeling nostalgia right now. Gimme a minute.

Alright I'm good.

Couple quick and random fun factoids.
1. Baked potatoes in England are called Jacket potatoes. How cute, right?
2. I went to the bar where P.S. I Love You was filmed as a part of the pub crawl last night (see next post).
3. I found out by some Scottish people that haggis is indeed a delicacy in Scotland and is rabbit-like. Reminds me of the movie Brave. "Don't fuss with your Haggis!" I also met a surfer from England. Surfing is actually a thing in Ireland...Who knew?
4. My friends paid 2 euros at a pub for a ping pong ball. If we return it, we get the 2 euros back. LOLS. Americans and their beer- I mean water- pong.

Sorry for the lack of posting my friends, but the next posts will be spicy. As spicy as the pepperoni pizza I just ate.
