Why The Letter T Is Significant

Hello Boston. Thank you so much for creating a subway system that has not only gotten me lost (an uncountable number of times), but you have also created the best names for every place these subways stop. Seriously, though, most of the stop names have a connection in my life.

First stop on my list (please tell me you rolled your eyes at that pun), Woodlawn. I don't really even know how I spotted this on the map.

I can't even read the print for this on a normal sign unless I squint. And I can't decide which mode of transportation actually gets you there...however, that is not the point. Woodlawn Middle School Class of 2009. That's me! Oh what a lovely school. Full of really great teachers and wonderful lunch food. My awkward years were spent there. Well, the beginning of my awkward years. Actually I've always been awkward. Meep.

One of my favorite memories was in 8th grade when I was selected as the Mayor's Wife in the Music Man. I loved acting when I was younger, and this was my first huge part in a musical. I wish I still had pictures...

Next stop, Eliot. There's not much to say about this. I just used to babysit a really sweet child named Eliot through out high school. I loved the family! He had a brother named Evan too. I miss them.

Oh, other important places in Boston that do not have a name on the T (before I forget to mention). There is a place by my school called Mission Hill. This connection is ironic. The Mission Hill in Boston is known for crime and unrest. But the one at home- actually it's called Mission Hills at home- is the country club where I had my Bat Mitzvah party. LOLS. I think life is cool when one name can have several connotations.

Another stop is called Andrew, on the red line. Not only is it a boys name. It happens to be one of my exes names. So... there's that.

On to some more fun, have you ever wanted to visit Wonderland!? I have. Well, by the end of my time in Boston I will totally visit it. Just a casual ride on the Blue line.

Lastly, one of my absolute favorite stops, Northeastern. Hold the applause. Yes we do have our own stop. Conveniently located in front of the gym. When I want to work out after a long day of working, I go straight to the Northeastern stop. Otherwise I will not make it to the gym. My favorite is that every time you see people getting off at that stop, it's mostly students you know, getting home from coop or from meandering through the city. It's a cute little way to make me feel like my school belongs.

If it's not a T stop, is it even a relevant school?

The green line is treacherous and bumpy, but I'd ride it any day to get to my home at Northeastern.

Except during the winter. No patience for that.
