Fact or Fiction

Questions you might have after reading through my recent blog posts:
"Who the hell is Felicia?"
"Does this girl have any internal compass?"
"Do you even go to this school?"

1. Felicia. What a lovely woman. Well, I don't know anyone named that. But I'm sure if I did I would use the term "bye felicia" a lot less. It's just a way to say, "I cannot even right now" or "Whatever you said made me mad so bye".  Poor Felicia though. My friends think it's funny to match girls on Tinder named Felicia and say bye then unmatch. RUDE. But funny.

2. No.

3. LOL I haven't taken a class in six months, so maybe I don't even go to school. But, come July 5, I will be taking a class in Ireland. Organic Chemistry 3: drug discovery. Who said study abroad classes were easy? In all actuality, though, Northeastern is great in the way that I can take a six month hiatus from classes, refresh, and go back into it. I definitely needed this break to first help me breathe, but second to help me remind myself why I love chemistry. College shouldn't be just about studying. The co-op program at Northeastern is reknowned, and I now know why.

No tuition, no studying, a paid internship (well, mine was), hands-on experience, and utmost freedom. I dig it.

Aside from those burning questions I know everyone had, I just kind of want to explain more about me. How about I list 28 fun facts? Short but sweet. Don't worry. I just love lists, ok?

1. Ketchup used to be my favorite food. "It isn't a food!" Said the bratty 3rd graders on my bus. It was to me.

2. Whales didn't always use to be my favorite animal. They were squirrels for a while. I know, who the heck likes squirrels? But they were the only animal I could draw.

3. I've been on 8 cruises. One in utero...thanks Mom- I hope you enjoyed Greece.

4. I collect thimbles. Laugh all you want, but they are available at any souvenir store.

5. My favorite colors are periwinkle, pink, and peach. The 3 P's.

6. My Bat Mitzvah theme was AOL: Amy On Line. If that doesn't date me back, I don't know what would. Each table had a name, so people could find their seats. Mine was AIM-Y.

7. I've known the whole Greek alphabet since 6th grade. It was the first extra credit opportunity I had in my life, so of course I took it. Never forgot it. And it came in handy when rushing a sorority!

8. I used to give a ton of my Halloween candy to my dad and mom because they said it was for charity. Upon growing up I found out where it really went. You're welcome, employees of my parents' companies.

9. Ordinary People is one of my favorite books.

10. Watermelon is my number one fruit, but I also love grapes and bananas.

11. My favorite number is 28, hence why there are that many fun facts. I am obvi more fun than that but I get bored reading, so you probably do too.

12. I stuck a bead up my nose when I was younger. Every few months my dad reminds me of the $200 bead incident. End of story: they had to put me in a straight jacket at the emergency room, so I wouldn't move as they tweezed it out. Traumatizing.

(see right, we kept it -.-)

13. My parents were on Oprah.

14. I use more dressing on salad than anyone I know. Not healthy.

15. I played soccer for over 12 years. Very healthy.

16. A is my favorite letter. Can you guess why?

17. I married Nemo the fish in 3rd grade. My friends and I actually had a ceremony. People bought me candy from the gas station as presents. 'Twas legit.

18. I used to have a polo phase where every single day I wore a different colored polo. No regrets. Okay some regrets...

19. I was an actress and singer when I was younger (still am?) and was in: Aladdin, Once on this Island, Grease, Once Upon on Mattress, Oklahoma, High School Musical (twice -.-), The Music Man, Guys and Dolls, Sweeney Todd, and my personal fave in second grade starring as Sylvester McMonkey McBean in Suess's "The Starbelly Sneeches". That, my friends, was my peak.

20. Favorite pizza: Hawaiian.

21. I love to do my nails with cool colors and designs. Hit me up if you need nail polish. I only brought my favorite 50 to school...

22. I believe in ghosts.

23. I've never been skiing or snowboarding. I know, moment of silence.

24. I had an obsession with hand sanitizer until I wrote a research paper about it and realized I'm killing my immune system. Still use it for the good smells- but not as much.

25. I tie my shoes with two loops. Not the wrap-a-round.

26. I do not like to be late. Ever. And if I am, I'll probably apologize more than I need to.

27. I jumped off a cliff in Hawaii even though I'm afraid of heights.

28. The cliff mentioned above was 2 feet above the water. YOLO.

Hope you enjoyed! More fun soon.
